The 90th Post

I'd forgotten how tiring having a job is, hence the lack of updating. Anyway, my brother and I found some classic YouTube videos last night, here they are;

1. Torn, as performed by mime artist, Johan Lippowitz.

I was listening to Natalie Imbruglia's first album the other day; it really is a classic. This mime artists version of Torn has been on the web for a while, but I hadn't seen this version, in which Imbruglia joins in with the fun and games.

2. Jurassic Park...Sweded

Although I mentioned sweding in the previous post, I had to show you this video. It's amazing. You can also watch a 'Making Of' if you look around on YouTube.

3. Thomas the Tank vs. There Will Be Blood

This is one of the best videos I've ever seen, I think you'll only like it if you've seen the film. It's not even on the second disc of the special edition! Disgraceful.

4. House of Cards by Radiohead

Apparently, no cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was created entirely with visualizations of that data. You can watch the making of here.

In other news...

You can watch all of Boxes, a documentary about Stanley Kubrick, on YouTube. It's in five parts, which is lucky considering 4OD seem to have forgotten to put it online. Head here to check out 20 Everyday Items If They Were Designed for Batman. I can't wait to go and see it. There were rumours on the net that Daniel Day Lewis may be in the next one...if there is a next one.

In gaming news, Sony announced that an 80gb PS3 is coming to Europe, which is good news for late adopters such as myself. This comes just after Microsoft announced a 60gb version of their Premium 360. Doh!

PS. I have been told to put more pictures/videos on the blog, rather than links. I'll probably revert back to old ways soon though.
