Sweding, 2.5G iPhone and Brass Bands

Finally got a job today which is GOOD NEWS. The 3G iPhone came out today too; if you're still not sure what the differences are, head here. For me, the most confusing difference will be the fact that the 3G iPhone (so-called because it uses 3G technology) is actually the 2G iPhone, because it is the second iPhone to be released. Maybe it should be the 2.5G iPhone. Look's like there were some rather ironic problems with the launch in London...head here. If you want to see a hard-core fan of Windows (or maybe a hater) check out this pic (Thanks to James). Went to see Michel Gondry's Be Kind Rewind a few months back; if you haven't seen the film, it basically centres around Jack Black and Mos Def's characters trying to recreate famous films as quickly and as cheaply as possible. This is called sweding, a craze which has seen a large number of fans making their own sweded films, many of which you watch here. The picture is one of my favourite scenes from There Will Be Blood. I'm still waiting for the special edition to arrive, although it looks like it could be a bit disappointing. I think it may be similar to a lot of faces today at the Weyhill beer festival, judging by the weather...

PS Thanks to Doovey for showing me this amazing video of some half-time entertainment at a football game in the US. Obviously their rendition of the Zelda theme is the best one...
